Getting here

Flying

We highly recommend flying with El Al. As the national airline of Israel, they are the most reliable and convenient option for traveling to and from Tel Aviv.

For guests traveling from the United States, we suggest looking for flights departing from major hubs like JFK (New York), EWR (Newark), MIA (Miami), ATL (Atlanta), or LAX (Los Angeles), as these usually offer the best routes and rates.

Before flying, we recommend downloading GETT, the ride share service used across Israel. Uber and Lyft are not available here! Once you land and clear customs, head to Exit 03 (Ground Floor) for the official taxi stand. You can use the GETT kiosks outside the door or the app on your phone to get a "ride code" before hopping into the first available taxi. It’s efficient and ensures you pay the fair, regulated price!

Getting around

Tel Aviv is a super walkable city, but if needed, transportation is easy:

Taxis: As mentioned, we recommend downloading Gett. It’s the local version of Uber/Lyft and is the most reliable way to call a cab with transparent pricing.

Buses: The bus system in Israel is fantastic and very user-friendly. To pay, download the Moovit app. Once you board, you simply open the app and scan the QR code (usually located on stickers near the doors or windows) to validate your ride. It’s $2.50 USD per ride.

Tel Aviv

We highly recommend staying in Tel Aviv. There are so many fun neighborhoods in the city and we have discounts at the following hotels and Airbnbs in the area.

Shalom Relax and Spa | Hotel Two Blocks from the Beach - Use the code WED26 when you book for 5% off.

The Carlton Hotel| Kosher Beachfront Hotel
- Use the promo code 21062026 for 10% off.

HaYarkon 148| Airbnb Building - Loved by our families, just one block from the beach!
- If interested, let the host know you are in the Harris/Lichtman Wedding Group for a 12% discount before booking. - The link takes you to the profile of the host, scroll down to see his listings!

We also highly recommend looking into HolyGuest Short Term Rentals and Airbnb. You can find beautiful homes and apartments that are often more budget-friendly than hotels—especially if you want to be right by the beach.

To make things easy, we’ve included a photo of our recommended neighborhood, see the map below. Staying in this area will keep you close to the water and within walking distance of the hotels where the wedding shuttles will pick up and drop off guests

We’ve also curated a short list of places so you can get a feel for what is available/what to look for. If the room is still open, feel free to book!
